"You" "Owner" "Owners" "Customer" Refer to you the Customer or service taker.

Insurance

Cheeky Tails Pet Care is fully insured with Protectivity insurance. However, we recommend that you also have adequate insurance cover for your pets. Vet bills are the owners responsibility. You must inform Cheeky Tails if any of the information held by us about you or your animals change.

Vaccines, Boosters, Worming & Microchipping

ALL dogs must have up to date vaccinations(Boosters) including flea & worming treatments. We may request for you to provide a vet card with this info. ALL dogs must be microchipped before any services can be undertaken.

Dangerous Dog Act

Cheeky Tails Pet Care will not walk or provide pet sitting services for dogs/breeds that are listed on the dangerous dog act or behave in an aggressive way.

Dog Walking

Owners are required to provide a suitable and well fitted harness, lead, collar and if required,  coat. Keys will be required for us to enter and collect your dog/s. We are happy to keep the key until you request it back or are no longer needed. We will remove your dogs waste from public places when out with us.

Please ensure you provide a spare towel at home to dry dogs with. We always try to remove as much mud from your dog after the walk as possible in some situations we might need extra towels to minimise the risk of mess to your home. Although we do our best to minimise muddy paws we cannot be held responsible for any damage to your property or furnishings.

We provide the dogs with water during and after their walks we also ask owners to leave plenty of fresh water out for their dog/s. If you require us to feed your dog after the walk then please make the food readily available. We would prefer not to feed 1 hr before or after walks to prevent stomach issues.

If you wish for your dog to be off the lead when walking, then full consent must be given by the owner.

We reserve the right to terminate a walk early in the case of extreme weather. Heat, cold or extreme wind/rain.

Pet Sitting

During our home visits for pet sitting services, we will fulfil requirements detailed within the notes provided by you. We can provide up to two 30 minute visits per day.

Emergencies

We take great care of all the pets we look after, however if we need to take your pet to the vet whilst in our care you will be liable for ALL vet fees and travel costs, no matter how the injury/illness occurred. In the event of an emergency or issue we will attempt to contact you on the contact numbers provided to confirm what action you would like us to take. If you cannot be reached we will transfer your pet to your registered vet or to an emergency clinic.

Cheeky Tails Pet Care takes pride in the care of any animal in our charge. However, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, accidents, injury or death caused to any animal whilst in our care when all necessary precautions have been adhered to.

Security

Owners data will be collected before any visit or agreement and stored securely online. This includes: name, contact numbers, address, vet’s name and number, specific requirements your pet may need and services required. We safe keep all keys, remote control entry devices, access codes.

Termination

In the case of extreme emergencies we reserve the right to terminate ALL services with an owner.

Payments

Are to be made up by BACS Transfer or CASH on the day or prior to any service being taken. Under no circumstances can services  be taken without prior payment or arrangement.
